Terms of Service.
1. Agreement
By ordering or using a VPS, cloud or dedicated hosting service from Verdana Group (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa with its office at Maude Street, West Towers, 2nd Floor, Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton 2196, Johannesburg, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Verdana Group provides virtual private servers, dedicated servers and cloud solutions for B2B and B2C customers, including resellers and end users. Configurations, pricing and availability are as described on our Services page or as agreed directly with our sales team.
3. Trial Periods
Where a free trial is offered, it is provided to let you evaluate the service before committing to a paid term. Trial servers may be reclaimed or suspended at the end of the trial period if no order is placed.
4. Support & SLA
All customers receive our basic Service Level Agreement and access to a 2-tier support department. Support requests should be sent to support@verdana.co.za.
5. Acceptable Use
- You may not use our services for unlawful activity, distribution of malware, spam, or infrastructure attacks.
- You are responsible for securing access credentials to your server.
- We reserve the right to suspend services that threaten the stability or security of our infrastructure or other customers.
6. Billing
Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and billed according to the plan or custom configuration agreed at order time. Configurations can be adjusted on request — contact lets@verdana.co.za to change your plan.
7. Backups
Backup servers running SSD or HDD are provided as part of your service, but customers are encouraged to maintain independent backups of critical data.
8. Limitation of Liability
Verdana Group is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from service interruptions, except where required by South African law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
