Redesigned plans for storage-heavy workloads.
Published 2026
We refreshed our VPS tiers with clearer SSD and HDD options so file-storage customers can pick the right drive speed without guesswork. Instead of a single generic tier, plans are now split by workload: HDD-backed "Storage" tiers for large, cost-sensitive datasets, and SSD-backed tiers for latency-sensitive applications.
What changed
- Storage tiers now range from Storage Micro up to Storage Max, covering 1–4 TB of HDD capacity behind RAID controllers.
- SSD tiers range from SSD Pro to SSD Enterprise, for workloads that need faster I/O rather than raw capacity.
- A Custom Build option remains available for configurations that fall outside the published tiers.
Why it matters
Customers running backup targets, media archives or large file stores were previously forced into configurations sized for general-purpose workloads. The new tiers let you pay for the disk speed and capacity you actually need.
